Puppy Basics knowledge

knowledge

A young puppy’s development is extremely important. Not only will it help you make a great pet, but it will also benefit your entire family. By knowing about your dog’s development you will know how much he or she can take on and be comfortable in. Here are some important stages that each puppy must go through for the most part.

The eyes: The eyes are the windows to your soul. They are responsible for the puppy’s sense of sight. As puppies start to open their eyes, they will be able to see things more clearly and more easily. 🐶🐶

The Ears: This is the first stage where your puppy will hear sounds and will begin to learn to recognize different sounds. At this time the puppy’s hearing will increase as well as his ability to notice sounds and color. It is important to keep in mind that as long as your puppy has good ears they will never grow out of them, but if they are not healthy they may develop hearing problems in later years.🐕🐕

Teeth: A puppy will start to chew their food and may even start to use his or her teeth for chewing. This is very natural and should not be treated as bad. You should also take care when playing with your puppy as they will need to have their teeth brushed and flossed on a regular basis. 🦴🦴

Puppies

Nails: If the puppy has not developed their claws by this stage they will need to begin growing them. They will begin to have short nails around the front of their paws. Their nails will continue growing until they are around six inches long. They will also need to have their nails trimmed regularly.  🐕‍🦺🐩

Legs: When puppies begin to grow up their legs will begin to grow and their ability to walk will improve. They will also begin to develop their back legs. This is when the puppy will begin to walk around on their hind legs and also start to have strong forelegs. At this stage, they will also be able to stand on their front legs.

The Coat: The coat of your puppy will be thin and gray or black. They will not be able to grow their own coat so you will have to buy the dog’s own coat from a veterinarian or pet store. It will continue to become finer as they get older and begin to grow their hair coat out.  🦮🐕

These are just a few of the stages that your puppy must go through during his or her development. They will need to be able to grow and mature at their own rate. Do not force your puppy into anything and try to hurry things along. Just enjoy the journey and watch your pup grows. 😍😘🥰

                                                 The breed of dog

Puppy

The breed of dog that you decide upon for your pup will depend on the particular needs that your pup has. Different breeds have different temperaments and personalities. Some are more active than others and some are quieter while others can be playful.

The most important part of training your pup is to allow them to interact with other dogs and people. This will help them develop social skills which will help with all the aspects of their development. This can be a huge plus and your pup will thank you.

There are many puppy training techniques that you can use and some that you may need to employ to help your pup. Puppy obedience classes are always available in most cities. If you cannot attend one, then there are many books that you can buy that explain everything you need to know in easy to understand language.

It will take time and effort, but if you work it will pay off. Once you know the basics of puppy training, you will find that your puppy will get along with other dogs and children just fine. They will love their new friends and become loyal companions to you. 😍😎🐶🐩🐕‍🦺🦮
